Côté Gold Hosts Northern Ontario Leaders to Showcase Innovation and Economic Impact

This fall, Côté Gold welcomed key government and community leaders for in-depth tours of our operation.

We were proud to host Northern Ontario MPPs France Gélinas and Jamie West, Sudbury Mayor Paul Lefebvre, Chief Jennifer Constant of Mattagami First Nation, as well as Michelle Boileau, the Mayor of Timmins.

These visits provided an up-close look at our approach to responsible mining, automation, and innovative practices, while highlighting our projected economic impact—an estimated $10 billion to Ontario’s GDP, $5 billion in wages, and nearly 600 full-time jobs over the mine’s 18-year life.

We value these opportunities to strengthen collaboration and transparency as we continue building a modern, sustainable mining operation in Northern Ontario.
